The Effect of Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go is a social phenomenon, but it could be so much better! While addictive, there are so many problems that prevent it from becoming the new standard in mobile gaming. It’s impossible for you not to have noticed the effect of Pokemon Go, even if you know nothing about it: parks being suddenly populated by tens, if not hundreds of people; people staring at their phones, walking back and forth and swiping up every so often (is it the swipe that separates Pokemon Go players from other phone zombies, or the walking back and forth?); bodies being found in the middle of nowhere; and people driving into trees. The effect that this one game has is staggering — it’s literally affecting people’s safety!

Assassin’s Creed, Whitewashing, and Movies Based on Games

Do you like Michael Fassbender? He’s starring in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie! It’s hard to dislike him, to be honest. He’s good looking, charismatic, and the leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants. Oh, wait, that’s Magneto.

The Division Review

The Division is a game that is best described as a third-person combination of Diablo 3, Borderlands 2, and Destiny. What’s interesting about the plot is that it’s based on an actual simulation by the U.S. government codenamed Operation Dark Winter. The Division is an organization of sleeper agents who are activated in times of emergency when all else fails.

Key To Recovering From Surgery: Video Games and Friends

While stuck in bed, I became especially grateful for a few things: my family, modern medicine, and video games. My family had to take care of me and bring me meals around the clock, and for that, I’ll forever be grateful, even if it can get a bit strained between me and my mom. Modern medicine deserves its props too, cause I can’t imagine how much worse it’d be if there was no ACL reconstruction surgery — I’d be restricted to walking for the rest of my life!
