Did you know that May 4th is Star Wars Day?! It’s Star Wars Day because May the 4th sounds like “may the force” and then people add the “be with you” part. It’s quite a stretch from “4th” to “force” and it’s so very stupid! And this is coming from a huge Star Wars fan!

My friend sent me this gif of the fight at the Tower of Joy but with lightsabers! Oh, the wonders of the internet never cease to amaze:

All the excitement about the Tower of Joy, and it was all just a tease! Boo-urns. Show us Lyanna and reveal Jon’s parentage already! Aside from that, we finally got to see the legendary Ser Arthur Dayne, but I thought it was weird how they made him into a dual-wielder when he’s always fought with just Dawn (the only sword made out of meteorite instead of Valyrian steel in the books).
Also, Ser Gerold Hightower, the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, was totally shafted in terms of on-screen time/importance. He should’ve been the one in command and giving orders, even if Dayne was the better swordsman. Hightower died like he was just some random, nameless extra. But then again, the show also killed Ser Barristan Selmy when he’s very much alive and badass in the books.
Seriously. I can’t believe this is fan-made, cause it’s better than all the prequels combined. Watch it! Even people who don’t like Star Wars will appreciate how cool the fights are.
